Discover Our Journey
Saturday Christian Fellowship
We are a fellowship of believers with the vision of teaching people the biblical Hebrew roots of the Christian faith.
We are united by a shared passion for exploring the Torah and its teachings, with emphasis on the prophetic insights and the connections to Yeshua (Jesus) and the rest of Scripture.
We aim to provide a welcoming space for people from various cultural and church backgrounds to come together in faith.
Led by elders and a committee, we strive to foster a community that encourages spiritual growth through open discussions and observance of the Sabbath and the LORD God’s other Holy Days.
Our Beliefs
Our Statement of Faith
- We believe in one God (יהוה, The LORD), as He has revealed Himself in the Scriptures (Deuteronomy 6:4).
- We believe that Jesus (Yeshua) is the only begotten Son of יהוה, fully God, the Messiah, the Eternal One who is the Word, was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, and dwelt among us (John 1:1-14; Colossians 2:9).
- We believe that the Ruach HaKodesh (Holy Spirit) draws, calls, comforts, teaches, leads, indwells and empowers all believers (Acts 9:31; 1 John 2:27; John 16:13; 1 Corinthians 3:16; 2 Timothy 1:7).
- We believe that the Bible, both the Tanakh (Old Testament) and the Brit Hadashah (New Testament), are the only inspired, authoritative and perfect Word of יהוה. It is the written revelation of the righteousness of יהוה and a description of the lifestyle of the redeemed community (Matthew 5:17-19; 2 Timothy 3:16-17).
- We believe that all have sinned and have fallen short of the glory of יהוה (Romans 3:23).
- We believe Yeshua’s death and resurrection accomplished the atonement for all who place their faith in Him. Whoever trusts in His atoning work, is born anew by faith through the grace of יהוה alone. One cannot earn, merit, or keep this eternal salvation by one’s own efforts: It is only through Yeshua (Ephesians 2:8-10; Romans 8:29-39; Romans 5 – 6).
- We believe in baptism through water immersion and the receiving of the Ruach HaKodesh for all believers (Luke 3:21-22; Acts 2:38; Acts 19:4-6).
- We believe in the spiritual unity and equality of all believers in Yeshua the Messiah (Ephesians 2:11-22).
- We believe in the continuity of יהוה’s covenants with the people of Israel (Jeremiah 31:35-36; Deuteronomy 30).
- We believe that all Gentiles who trust in Yeshua are grafted into Israel. While this does not make them Jewish, they are full and equal participants in יהוה’s covenants of promise (Ephesians 2:12; Romans 11:11-24; Jeremiah 31:33).
- We believe in celebrating Shabbat (Sabbath) and the other Moedim (Feasts / Appointed Times) of יהוה, as they are a pattern of things past and of things to come (Leviticus 23; Colossians 2:17).
- We believe in the literal, physical return of Messiah to rule and reign from the throne of David in Jerusalem (Zechariah 14; Revelation 19 – 20).
